A member of the ARRI M-Series, the M40 is a lens-less system that unifies the advantages of Fresnel and PAR fixtures. The unit is open face and thus very bright: around 30 % brighter than an AS40 in spot. The ARRI AMC-1 Motor Controller remotely control focus, iris, and zoom via an LBUS interface. The AMC-1 Controller can link up to three daisy-chained cforce motors, and is compatible with WCU-4, SXU-1, Master Grip, and cmotion units. Compatible cameras include the ARRI ALEXA, AMIRA, and a wide variety of third-party cameras.
