MediaVision rents the Sony FX5 (ILME-FX5) in Mauritius as normal Cinema Line stock for commercials, documentaries, features and high-end digital work across the Indian Ocean. The FX5 sits between the FX3 and larger Cinema Line bodies: a compact full-frame camera with a newly developed fully stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor, BIONZ XR2 processing with AI subject recognition, Open Gate capture and internal 16-bit X-OCN recording.
Colour science matches the rest of Sony Cinema Line, including S-Cinetone and S-Log3, so the FX5 cuts cleanly with FX3, FX6 and BURANO packages already held by MediaVision in Mauritius.
