ALEXA LF Mini introduces the 3rd version of an electronic viewfinder and the 2nd version of the multi viewfinder. With MVF-2, many features have been improved upon based on our experience with the previous models.
The general functionality and layout are similar to MVF-1. MVF-2 has a new 4” rotatable flip-out IPS/LCD display for menu control or live image and a regular viewfinder eyepiece. The new flip-out display introduces a new user interface design that is reminiscent of older models in terms of functionality but offers more flexibility with the display. New cables allow a length of up to 10 m/33 ft, enabling MVF-2 for camera remote control.
The actual viewfinder itself is inherited from EVF-2. We are using the same HDR capable high-definition OLED panel and ARRICAM eyepiece optics for a clearer image and a greater eye range of movement.
Scubacam Underwater Housing / Splash-Bag
Scubacam's range of housings is designed to be operated just above the water surface or down to 4m below it, or in very dusty or dirty environments.
Supported by a lightweight yet strong anodised aluminium framework, the Scubacam splash housings are made from very hard-wearing, robust polyurethane and are sealed with a specialised YKK watertight zip made to the U.K. M.o.D. specifications, which is welded to the housing, ensuring a 100% watertight seal.
The camera is inserted through the zip, and the housing is rendered waterproof by closing the zip. The clear heat-sealed PVC windows allow the user to view the camera menus, displays and indicators. All the joins and seams of the unit are double-stitched and taped on both sides for added security.
Scubacam splash bags require minimal tools to install, operate, and remove the camera assembly - A "dry" studio rig can be installed with almost no adjustments due to the ARRI standard dovetail inside all housings. All other operating adjustments are designed to be done by hand.
ARRI ALEXA FSND Filter Set
The ALEXA FSND Filter Set (Full) from ARRI provides a complete set of behind-the-lens neutral density filters organized neatly in a carrying case. This set includes an IFM optical clear filter, and 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1 and 2.4 FSND Filters. Also included are an IFM (internal filter module) shim, a DG-1 IFM/extenders depth gauge, and a filter insertion tool.
ARRI MAP-2 Adapter Plate for ALEXA Mini (15mm)
The MAP-2 Adapter Plate for ALEXA Mini from ARRI supports a pair of 15mm LWS rods, and mounts to the bottom or top of the camera. Use this adapter to flesh out your ALEXA Mini rig with rod-mounted accessories. The MAP-2 adapter plate is compatible with studio bridgeplates when used with the separately available BPA-4 adapter. Tape measure studs on both sides of the plate aid in measuring precise focus distances.
